Easy 03:29
Everybody’s driving, going nowhere fast Busy climbing the ladder Cos no one wants to be last I feel like getting away I feel like spoiling the game Cos if there is one thing I know is true Too much life can be bad for you That’s why I’m easy Everybody’s running, just to stay the same Minutes turn into hours Hours turn into days But I’ve opted out of the race And I’m gonna be a disgrace Cos if there’s one thing I’ll never be The richest man in the cemetery That’s why I’m easy Everybody’s bitchin’, About their little lives Always blaming something Sharpening their knives But I’ve got a better idea And I’m gonna get outta here Cos if there is one thing I know is true Too much life can be bad for you That’s why I’m easy That’s why I’m easy Taking it easy Real easy

She’s got a certain something I¹ve never seen before A certain magic I’ve never seen before Its six thirty in the morning Baby we’ve been up all night My body just wants to go to sleep But I can¹t let her out of my sight And I know what I feel Makes me think maybe this is real She’s got a certain something I’ve never seen before She’s got a certain feeling I’ve never felt before A certain feeling Makes me come back for more I phone my boss in the morning And tell him that I’ve got some strife I don’t like to lie But this kind of night Just happens maybe once in your life And I know what I feel Makes me think maybe this is real And I can’t let her go And I just don¹t care who knows She calls me up in the morning And my heart jumps in my mouth Hurts so much and it feels so good And I just can’t work it out And I know what I feel Makes me think maybe this is real She’s got a certain something I¹ve never seen before

Well when I was young, I always knew I‘d find a girl, who’d love me true But time goes by, it’s getting late And she ain’t come, and still I wait, so If I have to climb a mountain If I need to break the law If I need to cross the ocean ‘Til I reach a foreign shore I’m gonna find her I’m gonna find her And I tell myself, it won’t be long So many times, I’ve got it wrong I won’t give in, I’ll never rest I’ll settle for, no second best Cos, I will go a million places If I have to roam the world Gonna search in every corner ‘Til I find that special girl I’m gonna find her I’m gonna find her I’m gonna find her And all the hurt, and all the pain And all the tears, I cried in vain Will be a dis-tant memory And happiness will smother me I won’t have to roam the places I won’t need to search the world Won’t be looking in every corner Cos I know I’ve got that girl I’m gonna find her I’m gonna find her I’m gonna find her I’m gonna find her
4.
She just needs a little bit of time She just needs a little bit of time She needs time to work things out She needs time to think about She just needs a little bit of time She said she needs a little bit of space She just needs a little bit of space She needs space to spread her wings And try and do some different things She just needs a little bit of space Sometimes I think she’s trying To stop herself from crying Sometimes I think she needs A little time away from me She just needs some time to be alone She just needs some time to be alone Time to be by herself She don’t want nobody else She just needs some time to be alone Sometimes I think she’s trying To stop herself from crying Sometimes I think she needs A little time away from me She needs a little time She needs a little time She needs a little time A little bit of time

Haunted Girl 02:49
Little girl you look so haunted In your eyes a thousand years All your clothes are torn and out of date Bet you’ve cried a million tears See you walking through the city Hanging out no place to go Dirty hair and dirty fingernails Little girl you move so slow But some folks never get the breaks And never learn by their mistakes Such a shame Never had someone to lean on Never seemed to stick around Didn’t have a friend to lead the way All your life they’ve let you down Little girl And all the people pass on by And go about their daily lives Such a shame Little girl ain’t seen you lately Little girl she disappeared Hope you find yourself a better place Little girl you’ve got no fear
6.
I know a man who lives alone Doesn’t have a telephone He’s alright, running away from life I know a girl who’s by herself She doesn’t need nobody else She’s alright, running away from life She’s alright, running away from life Everybody’s got ambitions Everybody’s got their dreams But what if the road you walk down Ain’t what it seems? I know a man who had it made Then he blew it all away with a smile Running away from life Everybody’s got ambitions Everybody’s got their dreams But what if the road you walk down Ain’t what it seems? I know a man who had it made Then he blew it all away with a smile Running away from life He’s alright, running away from life It’s alright running away from life It’s alright running away from life
7.
Too bad, you tried so hard To keep your little secret inside But now your secret’s out And baby you got nowhere to hide So don’t start crying Cos you’ve been lying There ain’t nobody else to blame There’s no use trying Cos you’ve been lying I guess that makes us both the same You tried, to break my heart With tears that don’t mean nothing to me But now you’re on your way I know how better off I will be So don’t start crying Cos you’ve been lying There ain’t nobody else to blame There’s no use trying Cos you’ve been lying I guess that makes us both the same It’s time to face the fact I caught you in the act No time for talking, there’s nothing to say You tried, to break my heart With tears that don’t mean nothing to me But now you’re on your way I know how better off I will be So don’t start crying Cos you’ve been lying There ain’t nobody else to blame There’s no use trying Cos you’ve been lying I guess that makes us both the same So don’t start crying Cos you’ve been lying There ain’t nobody else to blame There’s no use trying Cos you’ve been lying I guess that makes us both the same
8.
Want You Now 02:35
I’ve been waiting for you Since the first time that I saw you But you keep on giving me the run around I saw you on Sunday Said you’ll call me up on Monday Now you’re mamma’s telling me you can’t be found Well it’s a crying shame I need you just the same I’ve done the best I can Now I’m a worried man I want you now Not yesterday Not a minute’s time Well I want you now You’ve got honey in your hips But you keep giving me the slip You’re in my sights but I can’t bring you down If you’ll only let me in I’ll never leave your side again We’ll be the biggest thing in this whole town We’ll I need you right away I can’t wait another day I can’t control my urge You’ve got me on the verge I want you now Not yesterday Not a minute’s time Just anyway I want you now I want you now I want you now I want you now
9.
Well I ain’t got much to call my own No car to drive in, no fancy home Ain’t got no money to throw around Each time I stand up they put me down But I’ve got a purpose in my stride I’ve got a love that I can’t hide She’s coming home, she’s coming home And she don’t care what people say Won’t have me any other way She’s coming home, she’s coming home My cupboard’s empty my pockets bare I’ve had some problems but she don’t care Had so much bad luck sometimes I cry I just can’t be like some other guy But I’ve got a purpose in my stride I’ve got a love that I can’t hide She’s coming home, she’s coming home And she don’t care what people say Won’t have me any other way She’s coming home, she’s coming home My cupboard’s empty my pockets bare I’ve had some problems but she don’t care Had so much bad luck sometimes I cry I just can’t be like some other guy But I’ve got a purpose in my stride I’ve got a love that I can’t hide She’s coming home, she’s coming home And she don’t care what people say Won’t have me any other way She’s coming home, she’s coming home She’s coming home to me tonight And everything will be alright She’s coming home, she’s coming home And she don’t care what people say Won’t have me any other way She’s coming home, she’s coming home She’s coming home, she’s coming home She’s coming home, she’s coming home
10.
Dilly Dally 03:49
You tell me that I’m holding back cos I won’t meet your mother Your sister makes me run a mile and I don’t dig your brother You tell me that there’s something wrong cos I don’t wanna marry And you won’t hang around too long I always dilly dally Tell you why I’ll tell you why I’m like I am I just ain’t your kind of man I’ll never fit inside your plan Certain qualities I lack And maybe that is why I’m holding back You tell me I’m a waste of time I’ll never be a winner Cos I don’t ever treat you kind or take you out for dinner I’m not like all the other guys I never send you flowers You tell me that I’ve got no heart and I’m a dirty coward It’s a shame That I could never be that man It’s impossible for me And I hate domesticity I don’t want to join the pack And baby that is why I’m holding back You tell me that I’m holding back cos I won’t meet your mother Your sister makes me run a mile and I don’t dig your brother You tell me that there’s something wrong cos I don’t wanna marry And you won’t hang around too long I always dilly dally Tell you why I’ll tell you why I’m like I am Pipe and sleepers ain’t for me Bouncing babies on my knee I just haven’t got the knack And baby that is why I’m holding back
11.
Baby Walking 02:48
Well I saw my baby walking Well I saw my baby walking Well I saw my baby walking But that’s alright with me She told me that she loved me She told me that she loved me She told me that she loved me And walked right out on me She said she’d always stay That’s why she went away I don’t know where she’s been Or if she’ll be back again Well I saw my baby walking Well I saw my baby walking Well I saw my baby walking But that’s alright with me Well it was so long ago She said she loved me so But now she’s gone away She’ll be back another day Well I saw my baby walking Well I saw my baby walking Well I saw my baby walking But that’s alright with me But that’s alright with me But that’s alright with me Well that’s alright with me
12.
Marlena 03:48
Marlena, she’s got the devil in her soul babe Marlena, she’s got the devil in her soul babe Marlena, she’ll break your heart and leave you cold babe Summer sun refused to shine The day that she was born Her mama cried and everybody Heard her daddy moan Thunderbolts of lightning Shot across a summer sky A rooster crowed just seven times And all the flowers died Marlena, she’s got the devil in her soul babe Marlena, she’s got the devil in her soul babe Marlena, she’ll break your heart and leave you cold babe Well every man she’s ever known Has slowly gone insane No one’s ever seen her cry She doesn’t feel no pain Fortune teller told her She would live an evil life And when she dies old Lucifer Will take her for a wife Marlena, she’s got the devil in her soul babe Marlena, she’s got the devil in her soul babe Marlena, she’ll break your heart and leave you cold babe
13.
Those People 03:19
Well Eddie learnt to steal when he was old enough to run He didn’t make no money but he had a lot of fun And Susie’s looking shattered cos she’s been up half the night And Jimmy’s looking battered cos he got into a fight That’s why I wanna be with those people And I wanna be with those people Joyce is getting older but she couldn’t give a damn She dresses like a lady but she curses like a man And Davey’s in the corner just staring at The Sun He lost a lot of money on a horse that wouldn’t run That’s why I wanna be with those people And I wanna be with those people Well I recall my Daddy told me We’re as good as anyone Don’t get ideas above your station Don’t forget where you come from Oh no! And Billy gets a moody when he thinks about his life He’s made a lot of money but he never got a wife And everybody’s singing to some old forgotten song And everybody’s happy cos we know where we belong That’s why I wanna be with those people And I wanna be with those people Well I recall my Daddy told me We’re as good as anyone Don’t get ideas above your station Don’t forget where you come from That’s why I wanna be with those people And I wanna be with those people
14.
We Went Wild 03:55
You know I had a bad week I didn’t feel too good I had a few things on my mind You know I hate my job But I love my life So I called up a friend of mine We went wild wild wild We went wild wild wild We went wild wild wild We went wild wild wild You know my baby called She said I should be told She said she was sick of trying Try to change you’re ways Try to treat me right So I called up a friend of mine We went wild wild wild We went wild wild wild We went wild wild wild We went wild wild wild You’re a bad little woman You’re a bad little woman Such a bad little woman You’re bad little woman You know I had a bad week I didn’t feel too good I had a few things on my mind You know I hate my job But I love my life So I called up a friend of mine We went wild wild wild We went wild wild wild We went wild wild wild We went wild wild wild Yeah!
15.
It’s no good living round here no more It’s no good living round here no more Nobody goes out no more Everybody locks the door Nobody’s got a thing to spend Nobody’s got a thing to lend It’s no use living round here no more No use trying round here no more It’s no use trying round here no more Nobody’s got peace of mind We’re getting old before our time There must be someplace else to go? This is the only place we know It’s no use trying round here no more We used to think that life would be so easy We never thought we’d end up being this way It’s no use trying round here no more It’s no good living round here no more It’s no good living round here no more Everybody locks the door You don’t see them out no more Politicians come and go We’re the people they don’t know It’s no use living round here no more So bad, ain’t dying round here no more Round here no more Round here no more Round here no more Round here no more

about

"That is from a fantastic new album by a UK band called The Bad Losers. It's on a Sommerville Massachusetts label called Equation. The song we heard was Those People, the album is called Easy and I think there is only a couple of hundred of these pressed so if I were you I would get on it, I would be like Todd-o-phonic Todd and get on it quickly cos yeah once people have heard that song i'm sure The Bad Losers are breaking the internet. So many great songs. It's a 15 track album, and the killers on this album are definately in double digits." - Todd-o-phonic Todd WFMU April 25, 2015.

about

The Bad Losers Bristol

The Bad Loser’s formed in 2004 due to a shared love of 60s Garage and Freakbeat.

Their recordings are made in a garden shed which resembles a small Working Men’s Club with carousal competing equally with musical creation.

In the comfort of this environment, the band have settled down to a long period of home recording in search of capturing an appropriate lo-fi sound.
